Designed for 18 to 40 year olds, this award-winning company are ideal for solo travellers wanting to meet like-minded others and have fun on their trip (and they’re 100% Scottish).

Wanting to experience Scotland for myself, I joined their 5 Day Scottish Highlands tour in August 2019 to discover more of this bonnie country for myself.

How Did You Discover The Company?

I heard about MacBackpackers at an 18 to 30 travel event I attended in London. The company offers Highland tours from Edinburgh and their adventures in Scotland sounded fun. What interested you in their Scotland Tours?

I researched their trips and their promise won me over: “Your adventure, should you choose to accept, is five days of castle-storming, whisky-drinking, ceilidh-dancing and monster-hunting. That and the fact that they have been voted “Best Cultural Tour in the World 2016” by TourRadar Tour of the Year Awards, made me certain that these were the perfect company to travel to Scotland with.

The price is so cheap for the value that you get. I took the 5 Day Skye and Highland Fling tour which costs £239 and is five…
